The challenge
Manual load tracking through email inboxes required managers to call drivers about profitable loads, creating delays and inaccuracies. The process was time-consuming and hindered scalability.
Our solution
- Implemented Firebase with the Gmail API and Cloud Functions to automatically capture incoming loads from email.
- Developed a cross-platform React Native app for drivers to view available loads based on geolocation.
- Enabled drivers to apply for loads and receive push notifications about opportunities near pickup locations.
- Eliminated manual tracking and reduced phone-based communication between administrators and drivers.
